当然ながらアーカム・シティになって以降とは違って荒廃しておらず、どの地区も当時はこんな風情だった、と言った感じで見ることもできる。見比べて見るのも一興。, マップの中にはブラックゲート刑務所ももちろん完備。立地こそ前々作とは違うが、そちらとは違って内部の間取りなどは、ある程度余裕を持って眺めることが可能。, また、マップの広大化に伴いファストトラベル機能が追加。屋外であればどこからでも、バットウイングに乗って特定ポイントまで瞬時に行き来することが可能となった。, 前作WiiU版限定の要素だったB.A.Tモードが正式に戦闘に組み入れられたことで、充電と放電のメリハリが利いた戦闘を実現している。充電中には苦戦するシールド持ち敵や巨大敵も、放電に切り替わった途端バシバシとコンボ攻撃が出来るようになり、何とも爽快感がある。, 例えばバットマンを操作して戦闘していると、突如画面がTV局のカメラに切り替わり、そこにバットマンが暴漢と必死に戦う姿が映る。画面の中のバットマンは変わらず操作可能であり、プレイヤーはTVカメラ越しに応援する視聴者の心情になりながらも、バットマンとして多くの人々の期待を受ける重圧と高揚感を味わうことが出来る。, ジョーカーの独白シーンではプレイヤーはジョーカーを操作し、彼の精神世界を旅するのだが、そこには口から火を噴くピエロやトランプの暴漢など、およそ常人の精神には登場しない様々なモチーフが登場する, 前々作・前作と本シリーズの課題の一つであった点が、「ボス戦闘が味気ない」というものだった。本シリーズのボス戦闘はそれ以前に登場した雑魚敵・中ボスのパターンを複合・工夫しながらも使いまわしているものが多く、「強敵との勝負」という実感を今一つ得難かった。しかし本作のボス戦闘は演出面・歯ごたえ共にかなり強化されており、文字通りの「強敵」として仕上がっている。, 対して放火犯・ファイアフライとの戦闘などはガジェットを多用して全力で挑む必要がある。一応有効な、模範解答的な攻撃方法は存在しているものの、ファイアフライに対しては様々なガジェットが効果がある為、自身のスタイルに合った方法で攻めていくことが可能となっている。ただし、ファイアフライは攻撃範囲と射程、移動速度が凄い事になっているため回避も攻撃も死に物狂いでやらないとあっという間に直火焼きとなってしまう。, ベインとの戦闘はイベントとしての演出優先な感が強いものの、なんと3回も用意されており、3戦目に至ってはまさかのプレデター戦闘。バットマンがあのベイン相手にどうやってプレデター戦闘を繰り広げるかは、ぜひその目で確かめてほしい。, 本作のストーリーはまだ未熟なバットマンと協力者、そしてヴィラン達との闘争の幕開けという非常に濃い内容となっている。, 登場するヴィランはブラックマスクを中心にデスストローク、ペンギン、ベイン、アナーキー、デッドショット、そしてジョーカー等。彼らは一人取ってもそれだけで一本漫画が描けるくらいの魅力的かつ強力な悪役たちであり、扱いの格差はそれなりに大きいとはいえ、その彼らを違和感なく組み込みつつ「仲間とは・友とは何か」という主題を、超展開を発生させることなく描き切ったメインシナリオの評価は極めて高い。前々作を髣髴とさせる、勝利の余韻を素直に感じ取れる終わり方になっているのも好印象。, 本作も多数の蒐集要素が点在しており、中でも「エニグマの脅迫ファイル」は特定の条件を満たして集めれば入手できる、と言う前作における音声ファイルの入手条件をブラッシュアップするのと同時に、音声ファイルを入手できる理由付けがなされている。これらの音声ファイルの中には、対象ではなく関連人物のみによる会話も含まれ、多様な内容の会話を耳にすることが可能。なお、本作の音声ファイルは前作までとは違い、盗聴によって得られた記録なのが特徴。, アーカムアサイラムがなぜ異常犯罪者矯正施設として機能し始めたかは、最終盤でさらりと触れられている。この時の演出の都合上、本作のクィンシー・シャープとジャック・ライダーは声のみの出演でキャラクター・データも用意されていない。, 歯応えがあると言えば聞こえはいいが、本作は序盤から倒すのに各種ガジェットや特殊アクションを要する敵が出てくるため、腕と難易度次第では逆に爽快感不足になりがち。特にカンフーを使用する敵は一部のテイクダウンが効かないため、余計にストレスを助長させられることが多い。だからこそショックグローブ入手後のカタルシスは絶大なのだが…。, ではスペックをギリギリまで使用した分良いものが作れているのか、と問われるとこれも首を傾げざるを得ない。本作のマップの広さが前作の更に1.5倍以上になっていることは上述した通りだが、ここまで広くする必要があったのか、という点は甚だ疑問。イベントも何も無い「ただあるだけ」の空き地や無駄な路地等も多く、「オープンワールドを作り込む」事に固執し過ぎており、その結果無駄に容量を食っているのではないかとも言われている。,
